The All4One Friends Club of Nigeria recently paid the hospital bills for fourteen patients at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi. This generosity marked the club’s way of closing out 2020 and welcoming the New Year 2021.
Operating under the motto “Love and Sacrifice for One Another,” All4One Friends Club is dedicated to promoting the welfare of its members, fostering unity and companionship, and engaging in philanthropic activities to support the needy.
Chief Ifeanyi Epundu, President of the Club, explained that this initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to assist the less privileged, particularly patients in hospitals and inmates in correctional facilities. He emphasized that these efforts aim to bring joy to the beneficiaries as they enter the New Year. Chief Epundu also highlighted that the club members are committed to upholding family values and encouraged the beneficiaries to remain hopeful, reassuring them that their current challenges do not define their future.
Professor Anthony Igwegbe, Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, thanked the group for their humanitarian efforts. He urged other well-meaning individuals to follow the club’s example and help those in need within the community.
The beneficiaries included two new mothers, accident victims, a man with a spinal cord injury, and several others who had been discharged between July and September 2020 but were unable to pay their medical bills. The recipients expressed their heartfelt thanks by singing songs of joy and praying for continued blessings upon the association, celebrating the New Year with newfound happiness and relief.
